My main research focuses on providing a better understanding of the contribution of the blood-brain barrier within the pathophysiology of neurological disorders including Alzheimer's disease, Batten's disease, GLUT1 deficiency syndrome or cerebral ischemic stroke. To address such questions, we have developed an isogeneic model of the blood-brain barrier using patients induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs)
