Biography

Jee Hyun Park received her Bachelor of Science degree with a specialization in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry, both in 2010 from the University of Missouri at Kansas City, Missouri. Jee Hyun joined the Graduate Program of Pharmaceutical Sciences as a PhD student in the Fall of 2012 and is currently working in the lab of Dr. Ulrich Bickel with the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Education:

  • BA: Chemistry, University of Missouri at Kansas City, MO, 2010
  • BS: Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Missouri at Kansas City, MO, 2010

Research Interests:

My research interest is a specific targeted-drug delivery across the blood-brain barrier (BBB) using a potential therapeutic antibody, T-cell receptor mimic antibody (TCRm) against brain metastases of human breast cancer: Development of novel in-vivo brain metastasis model of human breast cancer to evaluate PK/PD of TCRm; Antibody trafficking study (i.e. endocytosis/transcytosis of TCRm); Targeting strategy of therapeutic antibody to the BBB and brain metastases.
