The mission of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is to improve the health of people by providing educational opportunities to students and health care professionals, advancing knowledge through scholarship and research, and providing patient care and service. Now more than ever, providing possibilities for our students and faculty to make an impact on the world depends on the generosity of many people and organizations. Gifts from alumni and friends are vital for Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center's continued success and academic standing. Return to President's Executive Council
TTUHSC is a component of the Texas Tech University System. The President of TTUHSC reports to the Chancellor, who is the Chief Executive Officer of the System. The Chancellor and the President are responsible to the Texas Tech University Board of Regents, which sets overall policy for the Texas Tech University System, Texas Tech University, and TTUHSC.
