About the Office
The Institutional Compliance Office is committed to assisting employees and students at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in conducting their activities based upon the highest standards of integrity, confidentiality and excellence through professionalism and teamwork. We are committed to staying abreast of all Federal, State, and local laws and governing bodies to assure that TTUHSC is leading the way in Healthcare Compliance.
The Office has governing oversight of General Compliance, Billing Compliance and HIPAA with staff on the Amarillo, El Paso, Lubbock and Permian Basin campuses, and a collaborative relationship with all parts of TTUHSC. Our commitment to compliance involves the development of general and special training, policies, and the appropriate oversight and monitoring of activities.

TTUHSC is a component of the Texas Tech University System. The President of TTUHSC reports to the Chancellor, who is the Chief Executive Officer of the System. The Chancellor and the President are responsible to the Texas Tech University Board of Regents, which sets overall policy for the Texas Tech University System, Texas Tech University, and TTUHSC.
