I am pleased to report that President John C. Baldwin, based on a recommendation from the Council of Deans, has selected the following TTUHSC Quality Enhancement Plan to improve student learning over the next five years:

"Institute for Interprofessional Scholarship in Practice,
Innovation, Research and Education (INSPIRE)"

You will be hearing much more about the Quality Enhancement Plan as the proposal is developed into the final application with input from faculty, students and staff. The Quality Enhancement plan is required as a major component of TTUHSC's reaffirmation of accreditation with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Over 140 suggestions for a QEP topic that were turned in last fall by faculty, staff and students were refined by an institution wide committee into four broad topic areas from which all members of the TTUHSC community were invited to develop documented and researched proposals. The selected institutional QEP was selected from a field of ten submissions by faculty, staff and students from throughout the HSC system.
