Summer academy for premed students
Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center offers a summer preparatory academy for rural and under-represented students who are preparing for medical school. The six-week Summer Premedical Academy includes intensive preparation for the Medical College Admissions Test as well as shadowing experiences with health care professionals, mock interviews, oral and written communication skills, and admissions counseling.
