- Study of the monaural and binaural processes which allow human and machine to understand a single speech stream in the presence of other competing speech messages, including the role of the cerebellum in this process.
- Development of computational models of speech stream segregation and perception.
- The role of the cerebellum in processing auditory stimuli.
