Target Audience: Physicians, Nurses, Respiratory, EMT and other Trauma Critical Care Personnel
Description: This annual conference is a one day symposium providing the latest advances and updates in topics related to trauma and critical care medicine. The focus is on providing tools for a multidisciplinary approach to improvements in everyday patient care activities in SICU, BICU and Trauma Services to improve patient care and outcomes. Selection of topics was done by a committee made up of a multidisciplinary team of professionals plus input and suggestions from previous conferences. Printable Brochure
Accreditation: Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Ethics Credit: The lecture titled, Moral Distress in Professionals Who Work in Trauma Care within this conference, has been reviewed by the TTUHSC Office of CME and meets the requirement of the Texas Medical Board for CME hours in Ethics and Professional Responsibility.
