Upon the completion of this activity the participant should be able to:
  • Evaluate criteria and process of Donor Services, including referral criteria, CMS, JCAHO/DNV guidelines and hospital policy
  • Practice the appropriate process in collaboration with LifeGift and BSAHS
  • Recognize the principals of donation and apply the knowledge to the donation process
  • Identify their role as it pertains to donation, whether a brain dead patient or DCD
