Upon the completion of this activity the participant should be able to:
  • Recognize the stages of development of the trait of humanism in a learner
  • Describe the progression of professionalization in the resident
  • Discuss the evolution of professioal conduct in a learner
  • Anticipate the natural growth in a learner's self-awareness of knowlodge, skills, and emotional limitations to engage in appropriate help-seeking behavior
  • Explain the importance of development of trustworthiness in a physician
  • Identify stages the learner traverses in dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty in the practice of medicine
