Upon the completion of this activity the participant should be able to:
  • Review the basics of cardiac catheterization including terminology
  • Identify when diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization is indicated in pediatric patients
  • Examine current transcatheter treatments which are currently available to our patients
  • Determine how children with congenital heart disease will or may be treated in the years and decades to come
