Upon the completion of this activity the participant should be able to:
  • Discuss the importance of recognizing, appropriately diagnosing, and documenting delirium
  • Diagnose delirum correctly in elderly patients
  • Treat Delirium correctly first with preventative measures, then with non-pharmacologic measures, and finally with correct use of medications
