TTUHSC Honors CMHC Employee for Quality Service Award
Jan Alverson, field operations coordinator for CMHC Lubbock, was selected one of
the Quality Services awardees for 2008. Jan and eight other TTUHSC recipients from the Lubbock campus, were honored during the annual Quality Service Award ceremony May 23 at the ACB auditorium. Gary Tonniges, Director of Field Operations, nominated Jan (pictured). Read the "CMHC Extra" Newsletter.
CMHC-Provided Services Rate 100% With ACA
When the Clements Unit receives its anticipated initial ACA accreditation in May 2008, all TDCJ health services in the TTUHSC sector of Correctional Managed Health Care (CMHC) will be fully accredited by the American Correctional Association (ACA). ACA, based in Alexandria, Virginia, is the oldest and largest international correctional association serving all disciplines within the corrections profession. The organization certifies units to accepted standards and accreditation.
