The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) is uniquely qualified to provide Correctional Managed Health Care consulting services. TTUHSC is primed to advise counties and states on Correctional Managed Health Care management and operations.
For example, TTUHSC assisted with an overhaul of county jail healthcare in Salt Lake City, Utah. We are proud that our consulting services, coupled with the hard work of the health care staff of the county jail, resulted in the Salt Lake County Jail receiving the National Commission on Correctional Managed Health Care award as Jail Facility of the Year.
Past clients receiving our Correctional Managed Health Care consulting services include the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) and the states of Connecticut and Georgia.
Additionally, physicians from TTUHSC Correctional Managed Health Care have participated as expert witnesses in correctional physical and mental health litigation.
