Electronic Devices in the Classroom Policy

Unofficial audio and video recording of lectures and other instructional activities is prohibited. Official recording includes recording by Institutional employees for institutional purposes and the student scribe service, if used as advertised. The Audio Visual room will remain unlocked but will be monitored, and students other than the scribe will be asked to leave. With permission of the instructor, individual students may make audio (not video) recordings for their personal use. Making of recordings without permission, distribution of such recordings to anyone other than members of the current class and any other violations of this policy will be considered unprofessional conduct.
