Updated: 9/21/2012
International Health Electives: The Office of Curriculum in conjunction with the International Medicine Club and the F. Marie Hall Institute for Rural and Community Health are pleased to sponsor the School of Medicine's International Health Program. Any TTUHSC School of Medicine student (MSI through MSIV) may apply through the standardized application below for an International Health Elective. These electives, arranged by the student, should foster the development of humanism and life-long commitment to service while recognizing the responsibility of physicians to address global health disparities. Students can receive transcript notation of the International Health Elective (zero credits; Pass/Fail). Year 4 students can receive elective credit upon completion of the International Health Elective. Details may be found in the application packet below.
In 2012, the deadline for the pre-application is November 1, 2012.
