Assistant Dean for Administration
Bryce McGregor, MBA
Bryce received a Bachelors degree in Management (cum laude) and a Masters in Business
Administration (emphasis on marketing) from West Texas State University. He has worked
in healthcare for the past 25 years in ambulatory surgical centers, dialysis, radiology,
public health administration, and 11 of those years in higher education academic medicine.
He joined the Dean’s Office in 1998 and is responsible for the operational oversight,
budgeting, strategic planning and finances for the administrative services of the
school and serves as the Chief of Staff for the Dean’s Office. He is the liaison to
the HSC administration, teaching hospitals, and regional campuses for the School of

Tim Hayes, MAM
Tim holds a Bachelor of Music in flute performance from Texas Tech University where
received a commission in the United States Air Force. Following his military service
as a Personnel Officer, he worked in a variety of positions to include Emergency Services
for the American Red Cross and the Indigent Health Care and Medicaid programs for
Texas Department of Health. He completed a masters of management specializing in
psychology from Wayland Baptist University, Lubbock, in 2009 and is currently pursuing
a masters in professional counseling from Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia.
He has been with the School of Medicine since 2000 and oversees the completion of
many special projects and initiatives in support of the Dean’s Office and the school.
His primary responsibilities include supporting the re-accreditation process for the
M.D. educational program, policy development and publication, presentation and report
design, plus a wide variety of other creative and data analysis projects.
Associate Director of Special Projects and Community Liaison
Leigh holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Texas at Austin.
She has been with the Health Sciences Center since 2004 as Director of Development
for the School of Medicine. Previously, Leigh served as Executive Director for the
Lubbock Area Coalition for Literacy promoting literacy in the community and helping
adults learn to read. She also worked for Covenant Health Systems overseeing the Community
Benefits program and served as a Development Office for the Covenant Foundation.
Leigh serves as the Community Liaison for the School of Medicine working to build
relationships with community leaders and civic organizations. She is the primary
contact for the School of Medicine Speaker's Bureau providing special program and
presentations throughout the area.
Executive Administrative Associate
Ernestine is the Executive Administrative Associate supporting the Dean of the School
of Medicine since 1999. Prior to coming to TTUHSC, she served as the Executive Secretary
for the Commander/Publisher of the European Stars and Stripes Newspaper in Griesheim,
Germany, as Secretary to the Commander of the Operations, Exercise, Air and War Plans
section of the Army Special Operations Forces, European Command, and as Assistant
to the Community Commander of Flint Kaserne in Bad Toelz, Germany. Earlier in her
career, Ernestine was employed at Texas Tech University working as the Administrative
Assistant to the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs and Director of Student
Throughout her spouses’ military career, Ernestine was highly involved in activities
in support of military families. Her service includes acting as a Family Support
Group Leader assisting families during difficult times of deployments and moves.
She is the recipient of the US Army Commander’s Award for Public Service at the 205th
Military Intelligence Brigade in Darmstadt Germany, and the US Army Commander’s Award
for Civilian Service at the European Stars & Stripes Newspaper in Griesheim, Germany.
Jocelyn has been with TTUHSC since June 2007 and supporting office operations and
serving as the first point of contact for visitors and performs all the bookkeeping,
purchasing, and records retention for the office .
