- Klaus Lindpaintner, M.D., of Hoffman LaRoche Laboratory, Basel, Switzerland
- (The chromosome [16p13.1] was discovered in 1999 and PXE gene (MRP-6) was discovered in 2000. Current project is designed to determine gene function.
