"Welcome from the President"
The Teaching Academy supports the educational activities in the School of Medicine.
It has developed a peer review tool to provide formative feedback to faculty members
presenting lectures, participating in small group discussions, and making clinical
rounds. The Academy also supports educational projects and discussions on curriculum and
organization. The Teaching Academy encourages faculty members with a strong interest in education
to apply for membership, solicits requests for peer review of ongoing teaching activities,
and will help organize work groups to write White Papers and to develop scholarly
projects on medical student education.

scholarly inquiry and investigation, development of teaching skills, and communication
of more effective teaching strategies and policies.
