The Reynolds Team
The Reynolds Team united faculty leaders in both education and geriatrics dedicated
to the pursuit of bolder and higher set points for geriatrics training and care. Students
themselves requested better preparation for caring for older adults. Residency program
directors sought more enlightened faculty educators for both primary care and subspecialty
residents. Subspecialists wanted more help with humane evidence-based decision making.
With support from the Reynolds Foundation,
the Reynolds Team was able to fulfill the School of Medicine mandate to advance care
for the rural and multicultural aging population
