Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine

- Under the Direction of Andrew Dentino, MD, the Office of Geriatric Programs in the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine serves as the administrative home for the academic programs in geriatrics occuring on the TTUHSC Lubbock Campus.
- This Office serves as the administrative office for the TTUHSC Reynolds grant activities, and serves as a contact location for the graduate medical education programs in geriatrics at TTUHSC in Lubbock, as well as to participate in the advancement of the multi-campus geriatric mission of TTUHSC.
- In addition, the Office serves as an information resource center for other geriatric academic activities of the HSC in the areas of pre-doctoral medical education, research, clinical programs and outreach. It is the administrative site for geriatric programmatic collaboration with other HSC Schools and disciplines, with professional societies and in community education, in concert with the other HSC components presently bringing these linkages to other clinical constituencies.
