Selection Process

TTUHSC participates in the ERAS® - The Electronic Residency Application Service for selection of new residents. The selection process at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center begins only when the application is complete. Applications are considered on a rolling basis, beginning September 1 and ending December 31. It is highly recommended that applicants complete their file as soon as possible. Selected applicants will be notified if an interview has been granted. Please note that applicants are responsible for ensuring that their application file is complete.

US Graduates

International Medical Graduate

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine has adopted a policy of accepting only international medical graduates with J-1 visas into the residency training programs.

Minimum Requirements

Please note that in order to be considered, all applicants must be eligible to apply for a Texas license and also be able to comply with the requirements set forth by the Graduate Medical Education Department of TTUHSC.
