Thank you for your interest in our TTUHSC Neuropsychiatry Residency Program. Although our residents complete their training being Board eligible in Psychiatry, they also will have considerable knowledge of Neurology and Neuroscience. We feel this is the best foundation for psychiatry now and in the future. This training is very demanding; it takes a lot of time, energy and study. If you do not like to read or work hard, take us off your list. On the other hand, if you enjoy learning, working with difficult patients, and being on the cutting edge of new ideas and discoveries about the brain and the mind, we encourage you to apply.
