Cornelia deRiese, M.D., Ph.D, is certified by the German and American Boards of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is an associate professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine.
Dr. deRiese completed medical school and her residency in Hannover, Germany before completing a second residency at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, South Carolina. Her areas of special interest and expertise include breast disease, STDs, services for the handicapped, vaginal breech deliveries, pelvic ultrasound, PCOS, menopause, pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence.
Dr. deRiese is married to Dr. Werner deRiese, who is a urologist at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. They have lived in Lubbock since 1996, and have four children.
