Dana S. Phillips, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., is an associate professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Phillips graduated with honors from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, in 1983. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1987, before completing her internship and residency program in 1991 at Scott & White Memorial Hospital & Clinic, Texas A&M College of Medicine in Temple, TX. After four years in private practice, Dr. Phillips joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology faculty at TTUHSC in 1995.
Dr. Phillips is the mother of two lovely girls, Brooke and Meggie, and has been married to her husband, Lee, for over a decade. Her interests include adolescent gynecology, prenatal care and delivery, gynecologic surgery and assessment, well woman exams, and laparoscopic surgery.
