Carol K. Felton, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., is a 1965 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and a 1970 graduate of The Woman's Medical College of Pennsylvania. She completed her internship in 1971 and her Ob/Gyn residency in 1974 at the Hospital of the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
After graduation Dr. Felton worked in private Ob/Gyn practice in Somers Pt., New Jersey from 1974 to 1985 and in Pasadena, Texas from 1985 through 1998. She joined the teaching faculty at TTUHSC Department of Ob/Gyn in February 1999, where she is an assistant professor.
Dr. Felton is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is also a Certified Menopause Specialist, by the North American Menopause Society. Her interests include prenatal care and delivery, menopausal management, gynecologic assessments, well woman exams, gynecologic care for teenagers, and family planning. Dr. Felton sees her patients at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
