Roger Yandell, M.D. is an associate professor and director of gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
After completing medical school and his residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Dr. Yandell remained there as a faculty member until 2003. During that time he had extensive post graduate training in the medical and surgical applications of laser and endoscopic surgery. He further expanded these skills to teach international post-graduate courses.
Dr. Yandell enjoys competitive sailing, snow skiing, and playing the cello in his free time. He has played the cello for over 30 years in the Corpus Christi, Galveston, and Lubbock Symphonies.
