We are committed to the continued education of physicians and other medical professionals across the South Plains and the nation. The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences is dedicated to providing the highest quality in educational meetings, conferences and reviews to keep professionals in the field up to date with the latest techniques and procedures, as well as creating a positive venue to encourage discussion among colleagues in the field to share experiences and knowledge that will the benefit of the ophthalmic community as a whole.

- The 2013 Conference will include a reception for our department's centennial graduation celebration. Esteemed alumnus will serve as our guest speakers for the conference and there will be a reception that Friday night at the Texas Tech Club located inside Jones Stadium for alumni, faculty, residents and friends of the department.
