ABOUT RESIDENCY PROGRAM

Resident Program

The residency program in orthopaedic surgery is a 5 year program. It consists of four years of training in orthopaedic surgery with a rotating internship year, and is offered for qualified applicants.

Three residents are accepted each year for a program totaling fifteen residents. The integrated program in general orthopaedics consists of rotations in Hand, Sports Medicine, Joint Replacement, Trauma, Spine, Children's Orthopaedics and Foot & Ankle.

Department research is ongoing and opportunities and facilities for individual research are available and strongly encouraged.
