Admissions
Standards for student admission to the Master of Science Program in Health Services Research will conform to those of the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. These include:
- A Bachelor's degree
- Grade point average of B or better
- Graduate Record Examination or MCAT
- TOEFL scores for international students whose native language is not English
- A one time nonrefundable application fee ($30 for US citizens and permanent residents and $55 for international applicants.)
- Transcripts
- Two recommendation letters.
Transcripts from schools outside the United States must be evaluated (course by course evaluation) by a Foreign Credential Service. The on-line application provides a selection of transcript evaluation services to convert educational credentials from any country in the world into US equivalents. Students will be screened by the Program in Health Services Research based on interest in a career in health services research, their grades, and their test results.
