1. What type of visas do you sponsor?

J-1

2. What are your USMLE cutoff scores?

There is no minimum score requirement but prior to acceptance of a residency applicant, the applicant must pass USMLE/COMPLEX, Step 1 within the number of attempts required for Texas licensure.

Also, by March 1st of the PGY II year, the resident shall provide in writing to the Program Director and GME Office passing Steps 2 and 3 of this USMLE/COMPLEX within the number of attempts required for Texas licensure. If the resident does not do so by March 1st, a new agreement in accordance with the above time frame will NOT be offered to the resident. However, the resident will be required to fulfill the terms of his/her current agreement.

3. What is your cutoff graduation year?

None.

4. Do you require foreign medical graduates to be ECFMG certified before applying to your program?

Yes

5. Do you require U.S. experience?

No

6. What is the deadline for applying to your program?

November 1st.
