  Personal Interests  

My personal interests include playing and watching soccer. I enjoy watching Texas Tech basketball coached by Bobby Knight. I also like to spend time with my wife and children and hiking.

  Clinical Interests  

To provide quality services through a multidisciplinary approach to treat morbid obesity, including Nutritional, Psychological and Behavioral services. Our medical staff provide direction and leadership for the program and are committed to comprehensive and continuity of care for each of their patients.

Dr. Frezza performs laparoscopic surgeries such as stomach, spleen, liver, colon, pancreas, lymph nodes and bariatric surgery. Dr. Frezza has three fellowships, one in laparoscopic and bariatrics, one in hepatobiliary and one in colorectal. He offers the newest technology in these surgeries including the colorectal hemorrhoid treatment with PPH prolapse procedure, obesity surgery, STRETTA procedure, colon resection and liver RFA. He also performs laparoscopic surgery for gastroesophageal reflux disease and incontinence.

  • Pancreatic Pseudocysts
  • Quality of Care in Surgery

  Educational Interests  

My professional interests include focusing on bariatric surgery and diabetes secondary to bariatric surgery and the treatment of liver primary and secondary tumor including hormonal collection (incretins) as a potential treatment.

Dr. Frezza set up a minimally invasive surgery research and teaching program which includes a laparoscopic lab, animal lab and fundamentals of laparoscopic surgery and is sponsored by SAGES.

Dr. Frezza is doing research on finance and economy in General Surgery.
