Timeframes in which scholarship applications are accepted are as follows:

  • National Health Service Corps Scholarships — DEADLINE: May 14, 2013
    The NHSC Scholarship Program (SP) awards scholarships each year to students pursuing careers in primary care. In return, students commit to serving for two to four years, upon graduation and completion of training.
  • St. David's Foundation Centeral Texas Loan Repayment Program — DEADLINE: June 30, 2013
    This program is funded entirely through a grant to the Coordinating Board from the St. David's Foundation, for the purpose of recruiting and retaining qualified primary care and behavioral health providers at eligible safety net sites located in the five-county area served by the Foundation. Applications and detailed eligibility requirements can be found on the program web page, whose link can be selected at http://www.thecb.state.tx.us/lrp

Financial Aid

Financial Aid is assistance to pay for education expenses (tuition, fees, books, supplies, and living expenses) while in school.
