Application Requirements and Deadlines

The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) School of Nursing Traditional BSN application consists of two required applications:

1. NCAS: Apply utilizing the Nursing Centralized Application Service (NCAS). Please follow the link and pay the $45 application fee: NursingCAS Application Portal

2. MERLIN:Supplemental information must be submitted through the TTUHSC Merlin application system. Please follow the link and pay the $40 application fee: Merlin Supplemental Application System

3. LikeLive Video Essay: Create a LikeLive account at www.LikeLive.com You must use the same email address you provided in your NCAS Application. Once your account is created, you will be able to see the questions to answer and will be able to prepare and re-record your video as many times as needed. Please keep video essays to a maximum of five minutes.

Applicants will only be offered admission to their primary campus chosen.

Please note that there are limited available slots at all campus locations.

It is the responsibility of the applicant to make sure that the application is Complete and submitted in Both NursingCAS and the TTUHSC Merlin System.

If both applications are not completed and submitted, your application will not be reviewed.

Please note: application fees are non-refundable and it is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that the correct program and campus is selected.

Financial Aid

Upon admission to the School of Nursing all applicants interested in applying for financial aid (student loans, grants, and scholarships) must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The School of Nursing requires a FAFSA application to be on file in order to be considered eligible for scholarships offered by the school.
