Graduate Programs
The MSN with a focus in nursing education is designed for the BSN entry-level student who desires a career in nursing education. Students complete the program via on-line courses and practicum experiences.
Students who complete the MSN degree in nursing education are able to develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum; use technology to strengthen the learning process; and incorporate evidence-based teaching strategies to influence the preparation of today's nursing graduate.
Upon completion of the education track, graduate are prepared for educational positions in academic and practice settings. The program prepares graduates to sit for Academic Nurse Educator Certification by the National League for Nursing when practice requirements are met.
The MSN Education Program is completed in 42 semester credit hours.
