RN to BSN Undergraduate Program
All applicants will be reviewed in an individual and holistic manner. No single factor will determine a student's admission.
- Current RN License that is active and in good standing, without any restrictions or stipulations
- A cumulative GPA is calculated for both prerequisites and nursing courses. Each must meet the minimum cumulative of 2.5. Courses earned must be from an accredited institution.
- All prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of "C" or better prior to beginning the program.
- A Test Of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required unless a degree has been earned from an accredited university in the U.S.
Note: International students with F1 and F2 status are not eligible to apply to an online program
All applicants who receive offers of admission will be required to consent to a criminal background check. A history of criminal conduct or conviction may result in withdrawal of the admission offer. See 'Criminal Background Checks' section of the School of Nursing Handbook for the school's policy.
An unofficial transcript evaluation is highly recommended, though not required, prior to submitting your application. You may e-mail or fax unofficial transcripts from all U.S. colleges and universities attended to Rosie Gomez, Admissions Coordinator. Include your name, contact phone number(s) and e-mail address so that we may contact you with the review results.
Transcripts from schools outside the U.S. must be evaluated by a Foreign Credential Service. The School of Nursing requires course-by-course evaluation using U.S. letter grades and credit hours. A list of service providers may be found here.
