Second Degree Web-Based BSN Undergraduate Program
Texas Tech Health Sciences Center Anita Thigpen Perry School of Nursing (TTUHSC SON) offers a second degree web-based accelerated baccalaureate nursing degree program for the student with a previous college degree. The BSN nurse is prepared to meet the challenges of a complex and changing healthcare environment in the 21st century. This 12-month web-based program has preceptor and nurse-educator oversight in the students' own communities in the Austin/Hill Country, Lubbock/West Texas areas, Odessa, Abilene, and El Paso.
Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
Lubbock/Odessa/Abilene will admit in Fall Semester, application opens March 1st and closes June 1st.
Austin/Hill Country/El Paso will admit in Spring Semester, application opens September 1st and closes November 1st.
After completion of prerequisite courses, the Second Degree BSN is completed in one year.
