Erika Wisdom received her B.S. in Chemistry and Biology with honors from West Texas A & M University in Spring 2006. She joined the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences that summer. She currently works in the cell biology laboratory of Dr. Thomas Thekkumkara. Erika is investigating p53 and caspase activation after acute exposures of high glucose to proximal tubule cells. While pursing her Masters, Erika is also wife to husband Sam and mother to Andrea, Mattie, and Keira.
