	Bio	Dr. Leff is Professor and Regional Dean for the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex Campus. He is responsible for planning, daily operations, and mentoring of faculty. Dr. Leff earned his BS in Pharmacy from Creighton University, PharmD from the University of Minnesota, and received postgraduate training in pediatric clinical pharmacology at the University of Iowa.

Research Interests:

Dr. Leff is noted for his teaching and research in clinical pharmacology, drug delivery, and medical device and pharmaceutical development in infants and children. He is the author of over 100 publications and book chapters. His work has resulted in improved drug therapy in infants and children, and development of novel medical devices and pediatric pharmaceuticals.

Practice Focus:

Dr. Leff is Director of the Pediatric Pharmacology Research & Development Center located at Children’s Medical Center Dallas. The Center is one of four ‘Centers for Research Excellence’ in the School of Pharmacy. The mission of the Center is to provide pharmaceutical expertise to support preclinical and clinical trials for development of medical devices and pharmaceuticals in infants and children, and provide a robust teaching environment for clinical and translational research.

Professional Service:

Dr. Leff has served many professional organizations including the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, American College of Clinical Pharmacy, Licensing Executives Society, and the Society for Pediatric Research. He has served the United States Pharmacopeia Expert Advisory Panel on Pediatrics for over 10 years.
