| Bio | Dr. Stoll is Associate Dean for Faculty Enhancement, an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences, and is a Founding Faculty member of the School of Pharmacy. He received a BS with Honors in Chemistry from the New Mexico State University and a PhD in Biochemistry from the Johns Hopkins University. He did postdoctoral work as a Staff Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, first in the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism studying tryptophan hydroxylase and serotonin metabolism and subsequently in the National Institute on Aging studying Alzheimer’s disease and the Trisomy 16 mouse model of Down syndrome. The current research in his laboratory involves molecular characterization of the function and regulation of drug and nutrient transporters. |
