Research Interests:
Research interests include pediatric pharmacotherapy, intervention documentation, and drug stability in oral suspensions.
Practice focus:
Dr. Haase’s primary practice area is pediatric intensive care, and along with the Amarillo based Pediatric Practice Team members, general pediatrics. The Pediatric Pharmacy Practice Team has received state and national awards in recognition of services provided for children in Texas.
Professional service:
Most notably, Dr. Haase has served The American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) in different areas. Among other activities he has chaired or helped develop focus sessions for the Pediatric PRN for programs from 2002-2006, developed a Pediatric focused pre-meeting symposium for the Annual Meeting in 2004, has provided items for the Pharmacotherapy Board Certification exam since 2002, served as Pediatric PRN chair-elect and chair in 2003-04 and 2004-05, respectively, and in 2006 was an author for the Pharmacotherapy Self-Assessment Program (PSAP), Fifth Edition, Book 9.
