Information About Pre-Release of Course Evaluation System:
Prior to initial release to students, it is recommended that faculty view the OCE Tutorial. To log in to the online course evaluation system, click on the link above. Your login credentials have been sent to you via email, contact stevie.rozzell@ttushc.edu to recover lost credentials. Once you login to the online course evaluation system, you will see six links listed across the top of the page, under the Texas Tech - School of Pharmacy banner. They are as follows:
- Questions -- This link allows you to add questions, in addition to the eighteen automatic questions. Click here to view an example regarding adding questions to your class. Note: You must do this before the evaluation period has begun.
- Email -- This link provides you with three standard emails available to send to students who have not yet completed their evaluations. Click here to view an example regarding editing and sending emails. Note: You can only do this after the evaluation period has been open for 4 days.
- Response Rates -- Will allow you to track response rates in real time. Click here to view an example of what Student Response Rates will look like upon release.
- Results -- After the survey is completed, view the results of your evaluations. This page displays the results of your questions.
- Password -- This link allows you to change your password.
- Help -- This button will give you help information about the page you are on.
Information About Release of Course Evaluation System:
When the Course Evaluation System has been released, you may view the amount of responses you have received by clicking on the Response Rates hyperlink located at the top of the Course Evaluation System home page. This link allows you to view exactly how many students have responded in each class you have been listed as a teacher. You may also click on the email link to view three pre-set emails. Once the survey has been released for four days, you may send one of these emails to students who have not already filled out the survey as a reminder.
Information About Post-Release of Course Evaluation System:
Upon the conclusion of the evaluation period, the instructor will have the option of viewing the both the response rates and final results. The response rate link allows faculty to see each individual class they are teaching, and a breakdown of the surveys. By clicking on the detail link on the left side of the class, faculty can see the breakdown of the class and team members with response rates.
The Survey Results screen breaks down each class, and the mean (average) score assigned to each question. There are three links pertaining to each course. The first link is the class link. This tool displays each question with a percentage breakdown of each answer. The second link is the Comments link. This link displays all comments input by students. The final link is the individual student link. This link displays information input by each individual surveyor, anonymously.
