Information About Release of Course Evaluation System:
Upon release of the evaluations, students will receive an e-mail with their login and password, as well letting them know the evaluations are ready to be filled out. Students will follow a link to the login website and enter their username and password. Once logged in, a list of the classes the student is enrolled in will be displayed. Once a student clicks on the course they would like to evaluate, they will enter the survey. Click here for an example of what a evaluation will look like. Upon completion of the survey, students will be taken back to the classes menu, where it will display only those classes with surveys not completed.
Benefits to Students:
- Confidential -- Your responses are summarized into report for distribution. In no way can a student be identified by their survey unless you choose to put your name in the typed comments.
- Time Efficient -- Since evaluations may be done from any computer, students are not rushed. This leaves more time to consider answers and allows the student to participate anytime online.
- Thoroughness -- All instructors can be evaluated, even if they don't pass out the forms. This provides evaluations to encompass both lead teachers and team members.
- Classroom Improvement -- The purpose of the evaluations are to improve faculty and class content. Without student input, classroom content cannot improve.
- Ease -- Once logged in, students simply fill out several questions pertaining to the class, then to the professor(s). That's it!
