Student Organizations

Kappa Psi
Kappa Psi finished off the school year last semester with a Founder’s Day Dinner. This was a special event to not only celebrate the founding of our fraternity at Texas Tech School of Pharmacy, but to give out awards and say farewell to our graduating brothers. Kappa Psi members also coordinated a bake sale and participated in a walk to benefit the March of Dimes. The last project organized before the year ended was a garage sale, in which school-wide contributions were accepted. Kappa Psi received an excellent response and is looking forward to continuing the event next year.

In more recent involvements, Kappa Psi sponsored the Stick-Horse Races at the 10-year anniversary program. The members enjoyed helping with the family-style event and meeting many alumni, faculty members, and their families. Kappa Psi, along with NCPA, set up a lunch for the P1’s during Bootcamp on Wednesday, August 16th. It was great to have the chance to welcome and personally meet many of the first year students. Kappa Psi is looking forward to seeing many of the new students at Rush Night on September 7th!
