Biomedical Sciences
Since the opening of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy, the basic science department has grown considerably resulting in the development of the Biomedical Sciences department which was created in the fall 2009. This department consists of faculty with a research and teaching focus in the basic biomedical sciences. Currently the department has 11 faculty members with a research focus in cancer biology, immunology, vascular biology, cell signaling, immunotherapy, cell biology, molecular biology, and neurobiology. The department participates in the School of Pharmacy Pharm.D. Program as well as the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences Graduate program. The chair and faculty of the BMS department would like to welcome to our website.
