WELCOME TO THE HOME OF THE TTUHSC SCHOOL OF PHARMACY STUDENT COUNCIL. WE ARE HERE TO SERVE AS YOUR STUDENT REPRESENTATIVES TO THE SCHOOL, FACULTY ADMINISTRATION AND UNIVERSITY.
SOP student government consists of the School of Pharmacy (SOP) Student Council that includes the SOP dean and the assistant dean for student services. In addition, each of the SOP campuses – Amarillo, Abilene, Dallas/Fort Worth and Lubbock – has its own regional student council that includes elected class officers for each class at that campus, the regional dean and the student services officer for that campus. Each class from each campus elects its own class officers at the beginning of the academic year (fall semester). Elected officers include a president, vice president and secretary/treasurer for each class at each campus.
SOP Student Council members and regional student council members are elected by the various student organizations and student groups to serve a one-academic year term. Members also serve on various SOP committees where they serve as representatives for student views and interests and act as liaisons between students and the SOP faculty and administration.
