| Bio | Janie Robles is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice in the Pediatrics Division at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy. Dr. Robles’ clinical and research interests center around experiential education, pediatric medication safety and asthma in the pediatric patients. In 2003, Dr. Robles received her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy in Amarillo, Texas. She then completed a pediatric specialty pharmacy practice residency at The Children’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Robles accepts 4th year students in the pediatric clerkships at the Lubbock regional campus as well as providing classroom instruction to Pharm.D. students. Her clinical practice is based at University Medical Center. Dr. Robles attends patient care rounds with the pediatric general and intensive care unit teams. In addition, she has implemented a pharmacist-managed asthma education program. |
