| Bio |
Md. Mamunur Rashid completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honors) degree from the University of Dhaka (Bangladesh). He then went on to get his Master of Pharmacy degree in Pharmaceutical Technology from the same university. His Master’s research thesis involved work on the study of the effect of hydrophilic polymers on Carbamazepine. Moon also has a 3-year-Diploma in Information Technology, which he obtained from El Net 3L Academy, India. Moon served in two Pharmaceutical Companies in Bangladesh as Product Management and Marketing Executive, and prior to joining TTUHSC he was serving as a Lecturer of Pharmacy in Primeasia University, Bangladesh.
Moon joined the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at TTUHSC as a PhD student with the Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences in August 2008. At present, he is working on Brain Renin Angiotensin System (RAS) in Dr. Vardan T. Karamyan’s laboratory.
