| Bio | Courtney Duval, Pharm.D. is currently a Pharmacy Specialty resident in geriatrics at the TTUHSC School of Pharmacy and Veterans Affairs North Texas Health Care System. She is originally from Highland Village, TX. She received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in biology the University of Central Arkansas in May 2007. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) School of Pharmacy in May 2011. Dr. Duval is appointed as an Assistant Clinical Instructor at TTUHSC School of Pharmacy and precepts pharmacy students in their 3rd and 4th professional year. Her residency research project will evaluate the risk of venous thromboembolism with megestrol acetate therapy in the outpatient setting. She is currently a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, the American Pharmacists Association, and the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, and watching hockey. |
