| Bio | Dr. Mary Beth Brinkman is a PGY2 infectious diseases resident with the Veterans Affairs North Texas Health Care System and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy. Mary Beth graduated from the University of Houston College of Pharmacy in 2011 and completed her PGY1 residency with the University of Texas Medical Branch Health and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in 2012. Prior to pursuing a pharmacy degree, she earned her PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Her PGY2 research focus is on the dosing of antimicrobials in patients with obesity. She is a member of the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists, the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. She serves as an Assistant Clinical Instructor and a Clinical Preceptor for students from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy in Dallas, Texas. |
